This is listing is for the mechanical key number for Renault vehicles. You will need to supply us with the vehicles VIN, proof of ownership (log book, registration certificate or car passport) and photo ID (Consumer customers only).

If your Locked Out of your Car dont worry we have a Remote key cut and supply service

In the post we can deliver you a key already cut to open the car so long as the car has the original locks on it when it was made.

The Passenger side door is used to open the car to gain entry.

This is a non-refundable service.

Keys Cut to VIN (Europe Only)

For keys cut to VIN we cut the key to your VIN and supply you with the key code. To do this we require a copy of the inside page of the logbook / ownership document, detailing the vehicles registration, VIN and vehicle owners details. The vehicle owner details must match the delivery address details when placing your order. Please scan or take a clear photo of the log book and upload it using the ‘upload a photo’ option.

IMPORTANT: Keys cut to VIN will be cut to the original locks of the vehicle. If the vehicle has previously had the locks changed then obviously this key will not work. Keys cut to VIN are non-refundable.

In order to process this request for codes (, RENAULT, )-WE REQUIRE THE 2ND PAGE OF THE LOGBOOK, CUSTOMERS PHOTO ID AND A MATCHING UTILITY BILL- if this is a new keeper and does not yet have a v5 form with their name on they will have to fill out the V5c new keepers details, this goes for if they have changed address or surname. If the vehicle is under a leasing company or auction we will need a signed letterhead (company name on the letter and signed by sales person) and a photo ID of the sales person along with the v5 2nd page. Please see attached for the acceptable photo examples, These will all need to be sent to be attached in the order page. if these document are not back to us within 2 hrs the codes will be cancelled

For gaining access to the car if it is not responding to the Key card or your car's battery is dead. In this example the card and car is a Megane II but is same for other models

As Pic 1 shows this is also the location of your card battery, If you are changing the card battery avoid skin contact with the battery as moisture/oils transferred to the battery can cause problems within the keycard .

The battery is a CR2025 and can be purchased readily in most supermarkets or any battery stockist

Pic 2 The emergency access handle is usually located on the passengers side of the car, Identified by the key logo on the handle

Pic 3 locate the slot on the handle

Pic 4 Partially insert the emergency key into the slot

Pic 5 With the emergency key partially inserted in the slot gently twist the key and the cover should pop off

Pic 6 Once the cover is removed you will see a more conventional key hole

Pic 7 Insert the emergency key into the exposed lock and turn this will open door that the key is inserted in

Remove the emergency key and replace the door handle cover by just gently pressing it in place.

Ensure the card battery is still in place before gently slotting the emergency key into the card.
